A charming vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel trinket box, beautifully decorated with colourful traditional motifs against a striking black enamel background.

The circular lid features an elaborate bird design, possibly representing a phoenix, surrounded by colourful flowers and animal motifs in shades of red, yellow, green and white.

The box opens to reveal a vibrant turquoise-blue enamel interior, creating a lovely contrast with the darker exterior.

Brass-coloured metal rims and decorative borders complete the traditional cloisonné design.
