Vintage Miniature Cloisonné Enamel Lidded Pot – Yellow Floral Design

A delightful miniature cloisonné enamel lidded pot, beautifully decorated with an intricate multicoloured floral design against a vibrant yellow background.

Despite its small size, this charming piece features an impressive amount of decorative detail, with flowers in shades of cobalt blue, pink, burgundy, white and green, outlined with fine metalwork.

The interior and underside are finished in an attractive turquoise-blue enamel, providing a lovely contrast to the colourful exterior.

The pot has a removable domed lid with a small metal finial and decorative metal edging.

Believed to be of Chinese or East Asian origin, possibly dating from the early to mid-20th century, although the precise age and origin have not been confirmed.
