Bob Crooks Signed British Studio Art Glass Bowl Blue Ribbed Sculptural Centrepiece

A striking signed British studio art glass bowl by Bob Crooks, one of Britain’s established contemporary studio glass artists.

This beautifully made piece has a dramatic sculptural form, with sweeping folded and curved sides rising from a substantial clear glass foot. The rich blue/teal glass is decorated with extremely fine ribbing that follows the contours of the bowl, creating wonderful texture and movement as the light passes across the surface.

The quality of the workmanship is particularly impressive. The form is beautifully controlled despite its fluid appearance, with a finely finished rim and substantial polished clear glass base.

The bowl is engraved with Bob Crooks’ signature to the underside, as shown in the photographs.
