Beautiful vintage 95% pewter decorative vase with an elegant elongated form and unusual raised botanical decoration.
The vase features a long tapering neck rising from a rounded body, with a wonderfully organic branch and leaf design winding around the surface. The naturalistic decoration and flowing proportions have a strong Art Nouveau / Jugendstil revival influence.
The base carries a clear 95% REIN ZINN – ETAIN PUR mark surrounding a trumpeting angel device. Rein Zinn and Étain Pur are German and French terminology relating to the high tin content of the pewter alloy.
The vase also retains its attractive hanging “Étain d’Art” label with fleur-de-lis decoration.
Research suggests this type of 95% pewter marking is associated with mid to later 20th-century European production, probably around the 1960s–1970s. I have not been able to establish the manufacturer or country of manufacture with sufficient certainty, so no specific maker or country attribution is being made.

A particularly decorative piece of vintage European pewter, with its tall sculptural proportions and raised botanical design making it ideal for an Art Nouveau-inspired interior, cabinet display or pewter collection.
