Beautiful vintage handmade studio art glass bowl/vase by Star Glass UK, retaining its original maker’s label featuring the star logo and “Star Glass UK Handmade”.

This substantial rounded piece is made from clear glass and decorated with striking highly reflective silver-coloured inclusions, surrounded and intersected by fine black trailing. The decoration creates an unusual abstract mosaic or web-like pattern which changes considerably as the piece catches the light.

The wide spherical form works beautifully as a decorative art glass bowl, posy vase or standalone display piece.

The presence of the original Star Glass UK Handmade label confirms the maker and makes this a particularly nice example for a British studio glass collection.
