Vintage Chinese Cloisonné Floral Trinket Box

A beautiful small vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel box decorated with colourful flowers and foliage against a striking turquoise blue ground.

The decoration is particularly attractive, with fine repeating wave-form wirework covering the blue ground and detailed pink, green, red and cream enamel decoration. The design continues around the sides and underside, while the interior is finished in rich blue enamel.

The box is formed in two sections with brass-coloured rims and is ideal as a small trinket, jewellery or keepsake box. It also makes a lovely decorative addition to a collection of Chinese cloisonné.
