A beautiful antique hand-blown art glass vase dating from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period, approximately 1880–1910.
The vase has a wonderfully decorative form, with a soft peach-pink opaline body featuring fine vertical ribbing. The interior changes to a rich amber-orange towards the opening, finished with a dramatic hand-worked ruffled rim edged in pale opalescent glass.
Two clear applied glass handles sweep down either side of the vase, with curled decorative terminals at the top and substantial applied attachment pads at the body.
A particularly attractive piece of turn-of-the-century decorative art glass and a lovely display piece.

Condition
Good antique condition overall. There are surface marks, small inclusions and irregularities associated with age and the handmade nature of the glass, particularly around the applied handle areas. These can be seen in the photographs and form part of the character of the piece.
I have found no maker’s mark, so the vase is being sold as unattributed antique art glass rather than assigning it to a particular factory.
Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
