Vintage Venetian Murano Style Filigree Glass Miniature Vase White Hand Blown

A beautiful miniature vintage hand-blown glass vase with an unusual sculptural form, featuring delicate white filigree-style vertical trails encased within clear glass.

The vase has a rounded body with a distinctive pinched double-lobed rim, raised on a white glass knop and a wide, thin clear circular foot. Viewed from above, the folded rim creates an attractive figure-of-eight form.

The construction and decorative technique are consistent with mid-20th-century Venetian / Murano-style art glass. There is no surviving label or signature, so I have not attributed it to a particular Murano glassworks.

A particularly charming small piece, ideal for a collection of vintage Italian or studio glass and lovely displayed individually or alongside other miniature art glass.

Condition:
Vintage condition with signs of age and previous use. There is a small shallow chip/flea bite to the outer edge of the clear circular foot, shown in the photographs, together with some minor surface wear/marks. No major body cracks have been noted.
