Isle of Wight Studio Glass Wild Garden Floral Paperweight Boxed Timothy Harris

Beautiful miniature Isle of Wight Studio Glass floral paperweight / glass block, presented with its original Isle of Wight Studio Glass tube.

This charming little piece features a miniature garden scene suspended within clear glass, with individually formed white flower canes, green foliage and fine coloured stems creating a wonderfully detailed three-dimensional floral design.

The decoration is characteristic of the Isle of Wight Studio Glass Wild Garden family, designed by Timothy Harris. Wild Garden was one of the studio’s distinctive floral ranges and won the Giftware Association’s Gift of the Year award in 2001.

Particularly attractive in this small rectangular form, the flowers appear at different depths within the glass and change considerably as the piece is viewed from different angles.

A lovely example of British studio glass and an appealing addition to a collection of Isle of Wight, Timothy Harris or contemporary art glass.
