Vintage Isle of Wight Studio Glass Meadow Garden Poppy Mushroom 1980s

A beautiful vintage Isle of Wight Studio Glass mushroom from the collectible Meadow Garden range, designed by Elizabeth Harris and produced during the 1980s.

This lovely example has a soft pearly iridescent ground decorated with a wonderful scattering of coloured glass spots in red, blue, green and white, together with fine trailing canes running through the mushroom cap and stem.

The decoration is consistent with the Meadow Garden Poppy colourway, which was produced between 1983 and 1988.

A particularly attractive and substantial example of this unusual Isle of Wight Studio Glass form.
