Vintage Murano Venetian Glass Miniature Perfume Bottle Striped Filigree Stopper

A beautiful miniature vintage Venetian art glass perfume or scent bottle, featuring striking multicoloured ribbon decoration in red, green, amber and pale blue/clear glass, separated by fine black filigree lines.

The bottle has a wonderfully rounded, almost pumpkin-shaped body with a flared neck and its original matching striped glass stopper. The decoration continues through the stopper, making this a particularly attractive little piece.

The workmanship and decorative technique are consistent with Venetian / Murano art glass, although the bottle is unsigned and retains no maker’s label, so I am not attributing it to a particular Murano glassworks.

Condition:
Vintage condition with some minor signs and irregularities associated with handmade glass. There is a small irregularity to the glass on the shoulder, shown clearly in the photographs. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
