Vintage Chinese Cloisonné Owl Figurine

A charming miniature cloisonné owl, beautifully decorated in colourful enamel with fine metal wire detailing.

The little owl has a particularly expressive face with large white and black eyes and a raised gilt-coloured beak. The body is decorated in a striking palette of turquoise blue, deep red, white, cobalt blue and green, with individually outlined feather and floral motifs.

The underside is finished in turquoise enamel with decorative wirework and two small original construction/vent holes.

A lovely little display piece for a collection of cloisonné, Chinese decorative arts, miniature animals or owl figurines.
