A delightful miniature genuine Limoges porcelain hinged box, made in France and measuring just 3.3 cm across.

The underside is clearly marked:

This tiny hand-painted porcelain box has a softly domed form decorated with a central pink rose surrounded by delicate pink brushwork, tiny orange flowers and green foliage.

It is fitted with an ornate dark-patinated metal mount and hinge, finished with a particularly attractive ribbon and bow-style clasp.

Opening the box reveals a white glazed porcelain interior with a tiny hand-painted green floral detail.

Despite its exceptionally small size, the box retains the traditional construction and decorative details associated with collectible Limoges hinged boxes.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition overall. I can see no obvious chips, cracks or repairs to the porcelain from the photographs.
