Vintage Murano Venetian Glass Vase Blue White Aventurine Spiral Twin Handles

Beautiful vintage hand-blown Venetian glass vase with an unusual twin-handled form and striking spiral decoration.

The clear glass body is wrapped with fine cobalt blue and white trails together with sparkling copper-toned aventurine, creating a wonderfully intricate swirling pattern. The decoration continues through the neck, where the trails sweep upwards towards the rim.

Two elegant clear glass handles have been individually applied to either side, each terminating in decorative curled lower sections.

A particularly attractive piece of vintage Italian art glass with plenty of character and craftsmanship.

Condition

Displays beautifully overall.

There is a small crack/fissure to one of the lower applied handle elements, shown closely in the photographs. It is quite difficult to notice during normal display and the handle remains attached and secure.

There are also minor surface marks and irregularities consistent with age and the handmade nature of the piece.
