Vintage Murano Art Glass Vase Mery Bomboniere Design by Chiantese Aqua Swirl

A beautiful vintage Italian art glass vase by Mery Bomboniere, retaining its original certificate identifying the piece as Murano art glass, entirely handmade and designed by Chiantese.

The vase has a wonderfully fluid sculptural form, with sweeping bands of soft aqua/turquoise and white glass spiralling around the body, interspersed with clear glass. The design rises from a narrow twisted stem into a generously rounded body and finishes with a dramatic hand-formed waved rim.

The combination of translucent clear glass and opaque aqua-white swirls gives the piece considerable movement and changes beautifully according to the light.

The original Mery Bomboniere paper certificate is included. It reads:

“Certificato di autenticità
Questo pezzo è una espressione dell’arte Murano interamente realizzato a mano.
design by Chiantese”

The front is marked MERY Bomboniere – Made in Italy.
