Vintage Art Deco Style Satin Glass Vase – Frosted White, Deep Blue & Gold – 21cm

A striking vintage art glass vase with an elegant elongated form, combining a softly frosted satin glass body with contrasting deep blue-black glass to the flared neck and pedestal foot.

Fine gold-coloured bands provide an understated decorative accent around the foot and shoulder, while the inside of the flared neck has a warm metallic gold-toned finish.

The frosted body has a wonderfully atmospheric, almost icy appearance, with subtle variations visible within the glass and satin surface.

The shape and restrained colour combination are strongly influenced by the Art Deco period. I believe this piece most likely dates from approximately the 1930s–1950s and is probably of Continental European manufacture, although it is unmarked and the maker cannot be confirmed.

Condition:
Good vintage condition overall with no major chips or cracks seen.
