Artisan Glass Statement Necklace, Multicolour Textured Frit Glass Pendant

A striking artisan glass statement necklace featuring a large elongated pendant richly decorated with multicoloured glass frit.

The pendant has a wonderful jewel-like surface, densely scattered with tiny pieces of coloured glass in shades of turquoise, aqua, emerald green, cobalt blue, amber, ruby red and deep burgundy. These sit against a softly metallic silver-bronze coloured ground, creating an exceptionally tactile and colourful finish.

The irregular placement, variation and texture of the glass decoration give the piece a distinctly handmade studio-glass character. Depending on the light, the individual pieces of glass catch and reflect different colours, making this a particularly eye-catching piece when worn.

The pendant is suspended horizontally from a simple black cord, allowing the highly decorative glasswork to remain the focal point.
