Vintage Amethyst Art Glass Perfume Bottle with Stopper (20cm Tall)

A beautiful vintage art glass perfume or scent bottle in a delicate pale amethyst/lilac glass, complete with its original substantial glass stopper.

The bottle has an elegant gently tapering form with a thick stepped base and a distinctive rounded collar to the neck. The large solid glass stopper is particularly attractive, with the deeper concentration of amethyst colour creating a lovely contrast against the paler body of the bottle.

The stopper has a ground section where it fits into the neck, indicative of a traditionally fitted glass stopper.

A very decorative piece of vintage glass which would look wonderful displayed on a dressing table, vanity, bathroom shelf or amongst a collection of studio and art glass.

The bottle is unmarked and I have therefore not attributed it to a particular maker or glassworks. It appears to be a later 20th-century hand-finished art glass piece, most likely European or British in origin.

Condition:
Good vintage condition overall. There may be minor surface marks and signs of age/use consistent with a vintage glass piece. Please study the photographs carefully as these form an important part of the description.
