La Fenice Murano Glass Goblet Vase – Vetro Artistico 042 – Blue Latticino Filigree

A beautiful and highly decorative authentic Murano glass goblet by Vetreria Artistica La Fenice, Murano, Italy.

The piece retains its original Vetro Artistico® Murano label bearing maker number 042, identifying the authorised Murano producer as Vetreria Artistica La Fenice.

Standing an impressive 23 cm tall, the goblet has a wonderfully elegant and elaborate construction. The flared bowl is decorated with alternating powder-blue glass canes and intricate white latticino-style filigree against clear glass, creating a striking striped and netted effect.

The bowl is raised on an elaborate clear glass stem with spiralling decoration and applied cobalt-blue glass trails/prunts, terminating in a broad circular clear glass foot. The combination of delicate filigree work, twisting stem and blue applied decoration makes this a particularly attractive display piece.
