Antica Murrina Venezia Murano Glass Necklace Red Gold Black Venetian Pendant Boxed

A striking vintage Antica Murrina Venezia necklace featuring a substantial handcrafted Italian glass pendant suspended from a beautifully coordinated multi-strand twisted cord.

The teardrop-shaped pendant has a wonderfully sculptural open-centre design, with rich burgundy-red glass combined with shimmering gold and silver foil inclusions and dramatic dark edging. The different metallic finishes catch the light beautifully and give the piece considerable depth.

The pendant is suspended from twisted cords in red, golden ochre, pale blue and black, gathered decoratively around the top of the glass. It is finished with a lobster clasp and adjustable extension chain.

The necklace retains its Antica Murrina Venezia branded tag, confirming the maker.

Antica Murrina is known for distinctive Venetian glass jewellery combining traditional Murano glassmaking techniques with bold contemporary Italian design. This is an especially attractive example with a strong statement look.
