Large Black Stone Horn Pendant with Ornate Crown – Gothic Talisman Jewellery – 7.5cm Statement Pendant

A wonderfully dramatic large horn pendant featuring a highly polished black stone body topped with an elaborate silver-tone crown mount.

The crown is particularly decorative, with raised beaded detailing, scrolling ornament around the base and a small cross-shaped finial forming the suspension point. The long curved black horn gives the piece a striking Gothic, heraldic and talismanic character.

The black material is cold to the touch and has the appearance and feel of polished natural stone, possibly black onyx. It has not been gemologically tested, however, so it is described conservatively as polished black stone.

The crown mount and suspension fittings are unmarked. No precious-metal hallmark has been found, so the metal is described as silver-tone rather than sterling silver.

The pendant is suspended from a black multi-strand ribbon and cord necklace, which complements the dramatic appearance beautifully.
