Vintage Antica Murrina Venezia Passione Murano Glass Heart Pendant Necklace Boxed

A beautiful Antica Murrina Venezia “Passione” Murano glass heart pendant necklace, presented with its original Antica Murrina packaging, booklet and original branded product tag still attached.

The substantial heart-shaped glass pendant has a glossy black ground decorated with wonderfully rich swirling copper, rose-gold and golden metallic tones. The metallic inclusions shimmer dramatically as the pendant catches the light, creating a striking piece of Venetian art glass jewellery.

The pendant is suspended from a simple black cord, allowing the richly decorated glass heart to remain the focus.

Identification & Provenance

This example is particularly pleasing because its attribution is exceptionally well supported.

The original red ANTICA MURRINA VENEZIA tag remains attached to the necklace. The reverse carries the original barcode and product information:

“Collana” is Italian for necklace, while “Passione” identifies the design/collection and “NER” refers to the black colourway.

The necklace is also accompanied by its original Antica Murrina Venezia presentation packaging and branded booklet, providing considerably stronger provenance than an unsigned or unattributed Murano-style pendant.

Condition

The necklace and glass pendant present very well.

The original presentation boxes and booklet have some age/storage-related marks and wear, which can be seen in the photographs. I have deliberately retained the original product tag and packaging as they form an important part of the necklace’s provenance.
