Vintage Gozo Glass Vase Set – Red Etna Maltese Studio Art Glass (3)

A striking graduated set of three vintage Gozo Glass studio art glass vases, handmade on the island of Gozo, Malta.

The three cylindrical vases feature a wonderfully vibrant fiery red ground decorated with sweeping black and deep red trails, scattered dark flecks and subtle metallic accents. Each piece has its own individual variation in the pattern, while clearly belonging to the same decorative family.

The colouring and decoration are characteristic of Gozo Glass’s dramatic Etna-style glass, inspired by the rich volcanic colours of the Mediterranean.

What makes this group particularly appealing is the graduated sizing. Displayed together, the three pieces form a beautifully balanced collection and look superb in a contemporary, mid-century inspired or eclectic interior.

All three retain their original GOZO GLASS labels and have markings/signatures to the polished bases, providing excellent provenance.
