Vintage Russian Lacquer Box Church Monastery Scene Folk Art Trinket Box 7cm

Charming vintage Russian lacquered trinket box featuring a wonderfully stylised architectural scene of traditional Russian churches and onion-domed towers.

The decoration has a particularly appealing folk-art character, with vivid red buildings, turquoise-blue domes and trees, cream spires and delicate gold-coloured detailing, all set against a deep black ground. A scrolling decorative border completes the design.
