Vintage La Formosa Murano Italy Glass Perfume Atomiser

A beautiful vintage Murano glass perfume atomiser retaining its original La Formosa – Murano – Italy foil label to the base.

The rounded, deeply ribbed glass body features a particularly attractive combination of rich cranberry pink, clear and warm amber tones, interspersed with sparkling copper-gold aventurine-style ribbons. The colours change wonderfully with the light and give the piece a distinctly Venetian character.

Finished with a gilt-tone metal atomiser fitting and fabric-covered squeeze bulb, this is a charming surviving example of vintage Italian dressing-table glass and a particularly decorative piece for a collection of Murano glass or vintage perfume bottles.
