Signed Andrew Sanders British Studio Art Glass Vase

A beautiful and highly decorative piece of British studio glass by Andrew Sanders, the noted glass artist associated with the long-established Sanders & Wallace glassmaking partnership.

This individually signed vase has a wonderfully elegant tapered form, with a substantial rounded base rising to a narrow neck and beautifully formed thick rolled rim.

The colour is particularly striking. Depending on the light, the glass moves between deep ruby red, cranberry and vibrant pink, with the substantial clear glass base adding wonderful depth and brilliance.

The underside is clearly signed “Andrew Sanders”, as shown in the photographs.

Andrew Sanders worked in partnership with fellow glassmaker David Wallace as Sanders & Wallace, while maintaining his own identity as an individual glass artist. This makes the visible Andrew Sanders signature an especially appealing feature for collectors of British studio glass.

A superb display piece in its own right and a lovely addition to a collection of contemporary British art glass.
