A beautiful antique Chinese cloisonné enamel bowl dating to the Republic period, circa 1920s to 1940s. This charming cabinet-sized piece is decorated with colourful hand-laid cloisonné enamel featuring stylised floral motifs in rich cobalt blue, iron red, green, yellow, white and pink, complemented by a vibrant turquoise enamel interior.

The rounded form and traditional floral decoration make it an attractive display piece, ideal for collectors of Chinese cloisonné, Asian antiques or decorative arts.

The bowl is constructed from copper with finely applied brass cloisonné wire and retains a plain polished brass base, typical of many export examples from the period.
