Vintage Murano Zanfirico Glass Vase | Hand Blown Aqua Blue Swirl Studio Art Glass

A beautiful vintage Murano art glass cabinet vase, hand blown using the traditional zanfirico (filigrana) technique, where delicate coloured and opaque glass canes are twisted together to create a striking spiral design.

This elegant vase features a rounded body flowing into a gracefully twisted neck and flared rim. Alternating white latticino canes, aqua blue transparent canes and shimmering metallic grey filigree create a captivating sense of movement from every angle. Looking down into the vase reveals the remarkable spiral formed by the expertly twisted canes, highlighting the skill involved in its production.

Although unsigned, the quality of the workmanship, polished pontil and classic Venetian styling are all consistent with Murano studio glass dating from the mid to late twentieth century.

A wonderful addition to any Murano, Venetian glass or studio art glass collection.

Condition
Very good vintage condition. There is one small flea bite/bruise to the neck, shown clearly in the photographs, together with only light age-related surface wear. No cracks or repairs.
