Vintage Murano Style Latticino Glass Bud Vase Blue Green Hand Blown Italian Attributed

A beautiful vintage hand-blown art glass bud vase featuring intricate white latticino (filigree) canework complemented by striking cobalt blue and emerald green vertical bands.

This elegant little vase has a classic rounded form with a gently flared rolled rim. The intricate latticino canes are exceptionally well executed, creating a delicate lace-like effect throughout the body of the vase. Viewed from the base, the canes converge into a finely finished spiral, demonstrating the skill involved in its manufacture.

Although unsigned and retaining no original label, the quality and style are strongly reminiscent of Murano glass produced during the mid to late 20th century. As there is no documentary evidence, it is offered as Murano style / attributed to Murano rather than as a confirmed attribution.

Perfect as a cabinet display piece or for holding a single stem flower, it would make a lovely addition to any collection of Italian art glass.

Condition

Very good vintage condition.

No chips, cracks or repairs observed. There are a few tiny manufacturing inclusions and small bubbles within the glass, typical of hand-blown studio production, which do not detract from its beauty.
