Vintage ELA Denmark Sterling Silver Guilloché Enamel Cutlery Set (6 Spoons, 6 Forks) Boxed

An exceptional vintage ELA Denmark sterling silver (925S) boxed cutlery set comprising six matching coffee spoons and six matching pastry or cake forks, each decorated with beautifully coloured guilloché enamel handles.

The translucent enamel is laid over an engine-turned pattern, producing the shimmering effect for which Scandinavian enamel silver is renowned. The set is presented in its original fitted satin-lined presentation case, making it both a practical service and a highly decorative collector’s piece.

The set includes:

• 6 sterling silver coffee spoons
• 6 sterling silver pastry/cake forks
• Original fitted presentation case

Each piece is marked ELA Denmark Sterling 925S.

Condition

Overall, the set is in very good vintage condition with light signs of careful use.

One blue-handled spoon has areas of enamel wear, clearly shown in the photographs. This has been reflected in the asking price and does not affect the usability of the piece.

The remaining spoons and forks retain bright, vibrant enamel with an attractive polished finish. The sterling silver shows only light surface wear consistent with age and careful use.

The original presentation case has minor age-related wear but remains an excellent display and storage case.

This is a beautiful example of mid-century Scandinavian silver craftsmanship and would make a wonderful addition to a collection, an elegant serving set or a memorable gift for a silver or design enthusiast.
