A beautiful vintage fused art glass dish featuring a striking harlequin-style geometric design set against a rich cobalt blue ground and framed with colourful millefiori canes.

The bold central composition is formed from panels of ruby red, emerald green, turquoise, yellow, pink and clear glass, arranged in a diamond pattern that catches the light from every angle. Surrounding the design is a delicate border of intricate millefiori canes, adding depth, colour and unmistakable Venetian-inspired character.

The gently slumped form makes the piece both practical and decorative, perfect for displaying jewellery, rings, coins, keys or other treasured keepsakes. Equally, it makes a vibrant standalone piece of studio art glass.

While unsigned, the quality of the fused construction, vivid cobalt glass and traditional millefiori decoration are strongly reminiscent of Murano studio glass produced during the late twentieth century.
