A magnificent Royal Crown Derby Oceanic Whale paperweight, produced exclusively for The Royal Crown Derby Collectors Guild and dating to 2004 (MMIV).

Beautifully modelled in fine English bone china, this striking whale is decorated in delicate ocean blue tones with lavish hand-applied 22ct gold decoration. The design is enhanced by stylised waves and elegant hidden mermaids flowing through the body, creating one of the most distinctive and artistic paperweights produced by Royal Crown Derby.

The underside carries the Royal Crown Derby backstamp together with the original gold stopper, confirming this is a first-quality example. It is also signed by the designer and retains its original Royal Crown Derby presentation box.

A superb display piece that combines exceptional craftsmanship with a unique marine-inspired design, making it highly desirable for collectors of Royal Crown Derby paperweights and lovers of fine British porcelain.

Excellent pre-owned condition.
