The tortoise is decorated in the unmistakable Royal Crown Derby Imari palette of rich cobalt blue, iron red and lavish 22ct gold gilding, with exceptional hand-painted detail across the shell, head and limbs. The craftsmanship is superb, making it equally suited to display or to a serious Royal Crown Derby collection.

Condition

Excellent pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks or repairs observed. The gilding remains bright and vibrant. There is only light age-related wear to the base consistent with careful display. Please study all photographs as they form part of the description.
