This striking seahorse is decorated in the classic Royal Crown Derby Imari palette with rich cobalt blue, turquoise, red and lavish 22ct gold gilding. The elegant sculptural form and intricate hand decoration make it a wonderful display piece for collectors of Royal Crown Derby animal paperweights.

This example is complete with its original Royal Crown Derby presentation box, certificate of authenticity signed by Hugh Gibson (Chief Executive), and retains its original 24ct gold stopper, making it a particularly desirable collector’s example.

The certificate confirms that the Coral Seahorse was produced as an edition with limited availability until June 2004.
