Vintage Murano Art Glass Starburst Bowl: Possible Ercole Moretti Millefiori Centrepiece

Vintage Murano art glass freeform centrepiece bowl attributed to Ercole Moretti, featuring an unusual starburst or sea-anemone design with embedded millefiori canes and a beautiful translucent green interior.

This striking hand-blown Italian art glass bowl has an organic sculptural form with eight flowing points surrounded by clear glass arms. The interior contains multiple millefiori canes, including a distinctive blue letter cane, adding further interest for Murano collectors.

The bowl has a polished pontil base and displays the quality craftsmanship associated with Murano glass production. Its dramatic shape makes it equally suitable as a decorative centrepiece, fruit bowl, display piece or addition to a serious art glass collection.
