Vintage Hand Painted Bone Trinket Box: Persian Miniature Art Scene, Signed Miraz

Vintage Hand-Painted Bone Trinket Box – Signed Miraz – Persian / Middle Eastern Miniature Art Scene

A charming vintage hand-painted trinket box crafted from bone and decorated with a colourful miniature scene inspired by traditional Persian or Middle Eastern artwork.

The box features finely painted figures in traditional dress, horse riders, stylised trees and landscape details, all executed in vibrant colours against a warm cream ground. The artwork continues across both the lid and body of the box, creating a continuous narrative scene. Both end panels are also hand painted with seated figures.

The piece is signed by the artist, believed to read “Miraz”, and is finished with a red velvet base. Its small size makes it ideal for storing rings, earrings, keepsakes, pills, or other treasured items.

A lovely addition to a collection of folk art, miniature paintings, decorative boxes, or unusual curiosities.

Condition
Good vintage condition with light age-related wear consistent with use and age. The painting remains bright and attractive. Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
