$287.00
Striking large antique Chinese cloisonné enamel goblets featuring the classic Dragon and Phoenix motif, beautifully decorated in vibrant turquoise blue enamel with intricate hand-laid brass wirework.
This impressive matched pair stands approximately 17cm tall, making them substantially larger and more decorative than many cloisonné cups commonly found. Each goblet depicts a detailed 5-claw dragon and phoenix surrounded by floral and foliate designs, with matching decoration continuing down the stems and bases.
The dragon and phoenix together symbolise harmony, balance, prosperity, and unity in Chinese culture, making these both visually dramatic and rich in symbolism.
These display exceptionally well and would suit:
• Chinoiserie interiors
• Maximalist décor
• Curiosity cabinets
• Hollywood Regency styling
• Asian art collections
• Dark academia interiors
✨ A wonderfully bold and unusual decorative pair with strong colour and presence.
