Large vintage Chinese cloisonné vase featuring impressive five claw dragon decoration against a richly detailed black cloud ground.

This is a particularly striking example with vibrant enamel colours, extensive fine brass wirework and excellent decorative presence. The contrast between the deep black background and the turquoise, green, pink and gold enamel creates a dramatic display piece that works beautifully in both traditional and modern interiors.

The vase features opposing dragons amongst stylised cloud motifs with decorative floral and wave borders throughout. The interior and rim retain a warm aged brass tone which complements the darker enamel beautifully.
